Ciprian Tutu

Ciprian Tutu has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Ciprian started their career as a Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University in 1999 and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined Omniti Computer Consulting Inc. as a Project Manager/Sr. Analyst, where they were responsible for identifying and abstracting business logic specifications, managing multi-phased projects, and troubleshooting live production systems. In 2008, they joined OmniTI Computer Consulting Inc. as the Director of Solutions Delivery and later became the Vice President of Technology in 2009. In the same year, they also served as an Interim CIO at Synacor. In 2014, they briefly worked at Backcountry.com as the Director of Technical Operations (interim). Throughout their career, Ciprian Tutu has gained experience in various programming languages and database systems, including C, Perl, PHP, Java, Python, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.

Ciprian Tutu began their education at Liceul de Informatica from 1989 to 1993. After completing their secondary education, they attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1998 to 1999, although the specific degree they pursued is unknown. Finally, Ciprian Tutu pursued a PhD in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University from 1999 to 2005, completing their highest level of education.
