Mike Medina began their work experience in 2006 at Carpet Exchange, where they worked in the warehouse until 2010. In 2013, they joined NIMBL as an AMS Technical consultant and worked there until 2018. In 2018, they joined OmniTRAX, Inc. as a Service Desk Analyst.

Mike Medina attended Sheridan High School from 2000 to 2005, although no degree or field of study was specified. In December 2017, they completed the "Cert Prep: Implementing Azure Infrastructure Solutions (70-533)" certification course, as well as the "Microsoft Azure: Implement Azure Active Directory" course. In January 2018, Mike also obtained the "IT Service Desk Careers and Certifications: First Steps" certification from Lynda.com.
