Cooper Wu

Cooper Wu joined OmniVision in 2001 and brings in-depth knowledge and understanding of operations and product engineering to his current position. Since his appointment to Vice President of Product and Manufacture Engineering in 2010, Mr. Wu had responsibility for product yield, validation and manufacture engineering for new product introductions and their ramp up to volume production. By focusing on improving product development and manufacturing processes as well as implementing operational procedures to ensure that new product lines meet customer requirements, Mr. Wu has been instrumental to the success of the company's operations and product engineering teams. Mr. Wu continues to drive alignment across all parts of the company by leading the supply chain selection and build up, operational discipline and prioritization required to support the company's long-term strategy. He continues to drive costs down for all suppliers, reducing cycle times and continuously improving the quality and stability of our products. Mr. Wu earned his B.S. degree in Materials Engineering from the Tatung Institute of Technology in Taiwan and his M.S. degree in Materials Science and Mechanics from Michigan State University.
