Kevin Gao

Kevin Gao is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in application engineering and customer support within the consumer electronics industry. Currently serving as a Senior Application Engineer at OmniVision since May 2008, Kevin designs and provides technical support for mobile phone camera modules, focusing on firmware implementation for Auto Focus and Anti Shake functions. Prior to OmniVision, Kevin worked at Micronas USA, Inc. and WISchip as a Field Application Engineer, specializing in video and audio codec support and streaming chipsets with embedded MIPS cores running Linux. Kevin's career began at Amlogic, Inc., where work involved developing firmware for video-related products using ARM microcontrollers. Kevin holds an educational background from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
