Yuyao Chen

Yuyao Chen is a Staff Image Sensor Technology Engineer at OMNIVISION since January 2024, previously serving as a Senior Image Sensor Technology Engineer. Prior experience includes working as an Imaging Scientist at Boston Process Technologies, Inc. from July 2022 to December 2023, where significant contributions involved developing imaging systems for semiconductor wafer production machines and creating a deep neural network for wafer inspection, achieving a remarkable error rate under 1 part per million. Collaborative technical support was also provided to customers alongside field engineers. Yuyao Chen holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University (2017-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (2013-2017).
