Gary Hurst has over 25 years of professional experience in the creative industry. Gary began their career in 1991 as a Senior Graphic Designer at Braun Creative Group, where they were responsible for logo design, brochure design, identity design, computer and software management, mock-ups, presentations, art direction, posters, and print ads. In 1995, they founded Gary Hurst Creative, where they served as the Owner Principal. In 2001, they joined Omnivore | A Foodservice Advertising Agency as Creative Director, where they were responsible for solution-oriented creative development for print, motion media, identity, branding, packaging, product launch, promotions, trade show booth and graphics design, web and mobile app UX and build direction, social media, and sales meetings. Prior to joining Omnivore, they worked at ScottAdv, a full-service foodservice agency, as Creative Director, where they specialized in brand and creative strategy for leading national and international food, beverage, and food equipment manufacturers.
Gary Hurst obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design between 1988 and 1991. Gary also minored in Drawing during their studies.
