Sarah al Sharji

Sarah Al Sharji is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various sectors, predominantly within arbitration and government legal advising. Currently serving as Group General Counsel and Board Secretary at Omran Group OM since January 2018, Sarah has previously held the position of Lawyer at Hamad Al Sharji, Peter Mansour & Co., focusing on construction arbitration and related legal matters. With a background as Senior Assistant Legal Advisor and Director of Contracts and Treaties at the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Sarah managed the drafting and review of a substantial volume of contracts and treaties, providing legal opinions to government authorities. Additional experience includes serving as a Legal Advisor for the Oman University Project Office, Legal Counsel for the Royal Opera House Muscat, and various legal fellowships, including a position with the United States Congress. Sarah holds advanced degrees in law from the University of Leicester and the University of Nottingham, complemented by a Mini MBA from Emory University.
