Leandro Silva

Leandro Silva is an experienced field application engineer specializing in machine vision systems, currently working at Omron Industrial Automation Europe since September 2017. With a background in vision system engineering roles at Oxford Vision & Sensor Technology and Expert Tooling and Automation Ltd, Leandro has developed expertise in project management, problem-solving, and technical support related to machine vision solutions. Previous experience includes a research position at the University of Coimbra focusing on energy savings and ecodesign, as well as engineering roles in the energy distribution sector and technical analysis of anti-fire and lighting systems. Academically, Leandro holds a master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
