Christian Dyreborg Schmidt

Christian Dyreborg Schmidt possesses extensive experience in project management and engineering within the maritime and drilling sectors. Currently serving as Chief Project Officer at Odense Maritime Technology since August 2017, Christian has previously held various roles at Maersk Drilling from June 2011 to July 2017, including Project Manager for concept development and new building projects, and Senior General Manager overseeing the Rig Engineering Coordinator for the Project 20K. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Siemens Wind Power and Maersk FPSOs, alongside a significant tenure at Odense Steel Shipyard A/S, where responsibilities ranged from Senior General Manager to Senior Vice President, Design and Engineering. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Helsingør Teknikum and has furthered professional development through education at IMD in 2007.
