Wendy Wuyts

Wendy Wuyts serves as the Chief Research Officer at Omtre since September 2022, leading R&D project initiatives for the REblåkk and REjoin products while aligning activities with the company’s strategic vision and values. With a background in systems thinking, industrial ecology, and geography, Wendy has developed a diverse portfolio, including managing EU-funded projects such as Drastic and RAW. Previous roles include serving as a sustainability advisor at Hafenstrom AS, co-founding Bold Branders, and conducting research at Nagoya University, where a PhD in Environmental Science was obtained. Wendy is also active in facilitating discussions around a circular built environment and guides community-building initiatives through forest therapy.
