Barbara Polak

Barbara Polak is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Project Manager for Digital Development & Innovation at OMV Petrom since October 2023. Concurrently, Barbara Polak has been a Lecturer for "Innovation Management" at IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems since February 2023. With a diverse background, Barbara Polak operates as a Business Consultant and Trainer from May 2021 and previously held key roles at ÖBB, including Agile Transformation & IT Service Portfolio Management from December 2020 to October 2023, and Head of Customer Experience and Senior Project Manager from February 2015 to December 2019. Prior experience includes Project Manager and Team Lead positions at IBM, and an academic role focusing on Innovation Management at FHWien der WKW until June 2023. Barbara Polak holds a Master of Science in Work and Organizational Psychology & HR Management, a Master of Arts in Business Consultancy International (Marketing & Sales), and a Bachelor of Arts in Project Management & IT. Additionally, a sabbatical was undertaken from January to November 2020 to complete MSc studies and travel.
