Oktay Ismail

Oktay Ismail has extensive experience in network engineering and security, currently serving as the Network Security Infra Service Manager at OMV Petrom since November 2023. Prior to this role, Oktay worked at Accenture from April 2014 to November 2023, holding positions as Senior Network Engineer and EMEA Network Services Engineer, where responsibilities included managing LAN/WAN networks for the EMEA region, coordinating complex network scenarios, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Earlier experience includes a role as InfraTech Support Engineer at Accenture, focusing on network and system maintenance, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Oktay started the career as a Hardware Engineering Intern at ELECTROMAGNETICA S.A., contributing to testing and analysis for electrical design functionality. Oktay holds an engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and additional certifications in Linux and Cisco CCNA.
