Alexander Heger

Alexander Heger is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Department Well Delivery at OMV since February 2016, overseeing geothermal well delivery in Central Europe and E&P Austria. Heger has held various leadership roles within OMV, including Acting VP Well Delivery and Technology Support, focusing on performance improvement and enabling the energy transition toward sustainable energy. Prior positions include Well Delivery Manager for OMV New Zealand, managing offshore drilling projects and the planning of complex well designs, as well as senior roles in drilling engineering across multiple international locations, including ExxonMobil. Heger holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben, awarded in 2010.
