Angelika Zartl-Klik

Angelika Zartl-Klik is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Low Carbon Business and Renewable Energy at OMV since November 2019. In this role, Angelika Zartl-Klik leads initiatives aimed at developing 10 TWh of CO2-free energy by 2030, focusing on geothermal and renewable sources. Previously, as Senior Vice President of HSSE and Low Carbon Business, Angelika Zartl-Klik was instrumental in establishing a sustainable energy transition department within OMV. With a strong background in health, safety, security, and environmental management across multiple senior roles at OMV since 2004, including Vice President HSSE and HSSE Manager, Angelika Zartl-Klik has been responsible for significant compliance, operational safety, and sustainability projects. Additionally, experiences as Project Manager at OMV Proterra and consultative roles early in the career have contributed to a comprehensive understanding of environmental management and energy consultancy, complemented by a PhD in Environmental Science and Civil Engineering from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
