Dave Trueman

Dave Trueman is an experienced legal and commercial consultant currently serving as an External Consultant at OMV since January 2019. Prior to this role, Dave was a Partner at Simpson Grierson from February 2000 to December 2018, specializing in corporate commercial law in the Wellington office. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member for Capital Football from June 2012 to March 2018 and holding the position of General Manager, Legal and Risk at the New Zealand Racing Board/TAB from June 2005 to June 2006. Dave was also General Counsel at Solid Energy New Zealand Limited from November 1996 to January 2000 and worked as a Solicitor at Chapman Tripp between 1992 and 1996. Education credentials include an LLB in Law from Victoria University of Wellington, obtained from 1988 to 1992, and attendance at Heretaunga College from 1983 to 1987.
