Günther Nimsch

Günther Nimsch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer and commercial excellence, business development, and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Expert in Customer & Commercial Excellence at OMV since September 2023, Günther focuses on enhancing customer experience and sales excellence across the organization. Prior to this role, Günther was a Commercial Excellence Manager at Borealis, leading various programs to adopt new methodologies and improve customer relationships. With a substantial tenure at Xylem Inc. from 1998 to 2019, Günther held multiple managerial positions, including overseeing the development of the Monitoring & Control business in EMEA and launching product lines in diverse markets. Earlier career experiences include engineering roles at ABB and as a research associate at the Vienna University of Technology. Günther holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Wien and a secondary-school examination in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Höhere technische Bundeslehranstalt Mödling.
