Halvor Tellefsen

Halvor Tellefsen is a Senior Expert Geophysics at OMV, currently involved in planning and developing HPHT horizontal wells. With 16 years of experience, Halvor has held various positions, including Senior Geophysicist at Sval Energi and Geophysical Advisor at Cairn Energy. Halvor's earlier roles included Exploration Geophysicist at Maersk Oil across multiple regions, where they interpreted seismic data and identified prospects. Halvor earned a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geophysics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has also studied abroad at Curtin University.
