Jørgen Jørgensen

Jørgen Jørgensen is a self-motivated and efficient geoscientist with 27 years of hands-on experience in carbon storage and petroleum exploration/exploitation across various technical and managerial roles. Currently serving as a Senior CCS geoscience expert at OMV, Jørgen has previously held significant positions at Paladin Resources, Origo Exploration AS, and Faroe Petroleum, among others. Jørgen's expertise includes seismic interpretation, structural modeling, and project management, with a unique specialty in carbon storage in saline aquifers. Jørgen holds multiple degrees in geology from UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and Universitetet i Bergen.
