Katja Mayer

Katja Mayer, MBA, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in trading, business development, and entrepreneurship. As the CEO and Co-Founder of AFRK50 since February 2021, Katja Mayer leads a digital platform aimed at fostering development and collaboration within Africa, connecting entrepreneurs and investors. Prior to this role, Katja Mayer served as a Senior Structured Trader at OMV since November 2016 and held various positions including Originator at EconGas GmbH and Portfolio Manager at GDF SUEZ. Katja Mayer's educational background includes MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), as well as studies in economics and finance at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and KEDGE Business School.
