Paul Butcher

Paul Butcher has extensive experience in the exploration and production (E&P) sector, currently serving as Director of E&P Consulting at Westwood Global Energy Group and Head of Strategy, Exploration, and Portfolio Development at OMV since 2013. Butcher's career includes founding Panther Resources Ltd, leading E&P Consultants, and holding various strategic roles at BP, where achievements include developing a joint venture strategy in Russia and overseeing significant financial and operational initiatives. Butcher holds an MSc in Marine Geology from UCL, an MBA from The Open University, and a BSc in Earth Science from Kingston University.
