Sebastian Posch

Sebastian Posch has extensive experience in operations management and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Operations Management at OMV's Refinery Schwechat since October 2013. Previous roles at OMV include Department Manager for Technical Development and Operations in Petrochemicals, as well as Senior Process Engineer in the same field. Prior to OMV, Sebastian worked as a Thermal Design Engineer at Alstom Power and held a project assistant position at the Vienna University of Technology. Sebastian began a professional career as a Process Engineer at Austrian Energy and Environment. Academically, Sebastian holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, complemented by additional studies at ETH Zürich and a foundational A Level Grade in Industrial Engineering from Höhere technische Bundeslehranstalt Weiz.
