Aleksa Prokic

Aleksa Prokic is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years of expertise in financial management and reporting across multiple regions. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for Serbia at Omya since August 2012, Aleksa has a strong background in compliance with local regulations and IFRS, as well as financial decision support and reporting. Previously, Aleksa held similar CFO roles in the Russian Federation and at Dundee Precious Metals Inc., demonstrating a proven ability to develop accounting policies and maintain financial records. Management of financial analysis, budgeting, and treasury activities was also pivotal in roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Japan Tobacco International. Aleksa began a career in finance as a Senior Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers, further enhancing analytical and auditing skills, and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Belgrade and a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification from ACCA.
