Alan Tan is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor's degree earned in June 2024. Currently serving as a Front Desk staff at On Lok since December 2021, Alan utilizes Epic Software for scheduling processes and patient data management, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise-level software. In addition, Alan completed a Software Engineer Internship at Oxford Instruments plc from February 2024 to June 2024, focusing on developing software for automated quality assurance of X-ray tubes. Furthermore, an Undergraduate Research Assistant role was held from September 2023 to June 2024, during which Alan contributed to spiking neural networks research under Dr. Jason Eshraghian, modeling and training networks using gradient-based learning techniques.
