Jessica Eng

Jessica Eng has a diverse range of experience in the healthcare field. Jessica started their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2001. Jessica then went on to complete their residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Boston Medical Center.

In 2012, Jessica joined VA Quality Scholars as a Fellow, where they examined the implementation of a home-based geriatric model in primary care practices and conducted a study on patient attitudes towards telephone-based specialty follow-up. Jessica continued their work at VA Quality Scholars as a faculty member and associate Fellowship Director until 2019.

During their time at VA Quality Scholars, Jessica also held leadership positions at the SAN FRANCISCO VA MEDICAL CENTER. As Deputy Associate Chief of Staff, they led the analysis and improvement of physician productivity in geriatrics and expanded outpatient geriatrics services. Jessica also served as the Director of the Geriatrics Clinic, overseeing its operations and leading the development of quality improvement initiatives.

In 2019, Jessica joined the University of California, San Francisco as an Associate Professor. Jessica has since taken on the role of Core Faculty - Professional Development at VA Quality Scholars, where they are involved in mentoring physicians and fellows in quality improvement and clinical operations.

Most recently, Jessica started working at On Lok in 2022 as the Medical Director of PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly).

Jessica Eng earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Chemistry from Harvard University in 2001. Jessica then pursued their medical education at Boston University, completing their Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007. Following this, they furthered their education at Boston University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology between 2010 and 2012.
