Ken Boorom is an accomplished engineering consultant with extensive experience in the design and verification of collision avoidance electronics and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems to the ISO-26262 functional safety standard at Mentor Graphics since January 2018. As a Software Hardware Engineer at ON Semiconductor, Ken serves as a Scrum Master and Developer for an Automotive Imaging Safety Package, focusing on device driver libraries and hardware performance analysis. Prior to this, Ken developed software for chip simulation at Micron Technology, managed the development of the first USB 2.0 PHY at Agilent Technologies, and created embedded systems for HP Laserjet testing. Additionally, Ken has taught electrical engineering courses as an adjunct professor at both Oregon State University and Boise State University. Ken holds an MSEE and a BSEE from Stanford University, a certificate in Embedded Systems Engineering from UC Irvine, and has undergone project management training with Cadence.
