Maricel Villaceran-Escobedo

Maricel Villaceran-Escobedo is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and quality engineering. Currently a Principal Engineer and Project Manager for Business Operations at onsemi since August 2017, Maricel manages a portfolio of 53 projects, focusing on assembly and test improvements. Previous roles include Staff Project Manager and BU Project Manager within the PSG Business Unit, achieving significant capital expenditure avoidance. Earlier experience includes manufacturing quality engineering at Fairchild Semiconductor and product research at International Pharmaceuticals, along with environmental health and safety management at Halsangz Plating Corporation. Maricel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from CIT-University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Studies at the University of the Philippines.
