Rene Kardas

Rene Kardas, PMP, currently serves as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer and Project Manager at onsemi since January 2023. Prior to this role, Rene worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from July 2015 to January 2023 as a Software Engineering Project Manager, overseeing critical software applications for 300mm manufacturing, with responsibilities including request management, priority planning, project scheduling, cost tracking, and change management across multiple teams and sites. Rene's extensive experience at IBM spanned from July 1982 to June 2015, where roles included Software Project Manager for essential manufacturing applications and Software Engineer focusing on data collection and tool control applications in a 300mm manufacturing environment. Rene holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Pace University-Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus.
