Robert Lord

Robert Lord, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Engineer in Failure Analysis at onsemi since August 2023. Prior to this role, Robert held a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Drexel University from June 2021 to July 2023, focusing on two-dimensional transition metal carbide and nitrides (MXenes) while managing multiple research projects, securing funding, mentoring students, and contributing to community outreach. Robert's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University, where research involved the synthesis and characterization of heterostructured nanoparticles, leading to a published discovery. Earlier experience includes roles at Texas Tech University and Xenco Laboratories, where Robert conducted analyses in various capacities, from undergraduate research to leading environmental sample analysis.
