Matthew Capewell

Matthew Capewell is a Senior Data Scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, causal inference, and data analytics. Currently at On the Beach since March 2022, Matthew focuses on experimental impact measurement, natural language processing automation, and hotel pricing optimization. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Senior Data Scientist at ROSEN, leading ML model development and mentoring junior staff. Additional experience includes student projects at Newcastle University, where Matthew contributed to Bayesian statistics in clinical trials and developed a Shiny web-app for meteorological data analysis. Matthew holds an MMathStat degree from Newcastle University, completed in 2018.
