Matt Haeffner is an experienced professional with a diverse background in media, business, and fitness management. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor at On The Water Media since November 2021, Matt previously owned Heffty Fishing, a small business focused on selling fishing gear to local anglers from November 2019 to November 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Contributing Writer for The Fisherman Magazine, Operations Lead at L.L.Bean, and Head Coach at Sportset Health & Fitness Club, where programs for young athletes were developed and implemented. Earlier positions involved coordinating summer programs at the Garden City Department of Recreation & Parks and serving as a Camp Host at Firelight Camps. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management and Health from Ithaca College, obtained in 2017.
