Carolina Duarte is a seasoned professional in the field of materials innovation and sustainability within the textile industry. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in Apparel Material Innovation at On since October 2025, Carolina brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Innovation Associate and Senior Innovation Analyst at Fashion for Good, where participation focused on materials innovation. Prior experience includes working as a Scientific Researcher at RDD Textiles, dedicated to scaling sustainable solutions in textiles, and co-founding TeamOn, a platform connecting university students with industry challenges. Carolina's academic background includes a BSc and MSc in Materials Engineering from Universidade do Minho, where significant research was conducted in nanotechnology and photovoltaics.
