Zach Abolverdi

Zach Abolverdi is a seasoned journalist and educator with extensive experience in sports writing and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at On3 since December 2021 and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida since August 2021, Abolverdi has a strong background in media. Previously, roles included Radio Talk Show Host at Entercom Gainesville, where significant audience engagement was achieved, and Staff Writer at Cox Media Group, where successful projects included hosting a weekly video and launching a popular podcast. Recognized for excellence in journalism with a William Randolph Hearst Journalism Award while a Correspondent at The Gainesville Sun, Abolverdi also held positions at Prairie Dental Center and Yahoo, demonstrating a versatile skill set.
