Ana Maria B.

Ana Maria B. has been working in the scientific field since 2005. Ana Maria began their career as a Quality Control Analyst at Freiremar Elaborados and then worked as an Assistant Laboratory Technician at Medilab. In 2007, they began working as a Staff Biologist at Laboratorios Dr.Echevarne S.A. and then, in 2010, they became a Research Biologist at Hospital de la Santa Creu y Sant Pau, where they participated in several projects of Dr. Carlos Guarner and Dr. Germán Soriano in an experimental model of cirrhosis induction in rats. In 2015, they began working as a Laboratory Technician at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. In 2016, they joined the Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) as an Animal Model Technician, where they carried out all the technical work, animal handling in the section of Experimental Animal Models, acquisition and preliminary analysis of the images in the Molecular Image section with the IVIS Spectrum team. Additionally, they participated directly in the implementation of ISO9001 and Good Laboratory Practices (BPL). Currently, they work as a Research Assistant at ONA Therapeutics.

Ana Maria B. began their educational career in 1999 when they graduated from Universidade de Vigo with a degree in Biology with a focus in Sanitary biology. In 2005, they completed a Senior Technician at Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory at Instituto de Educación Secundaria Manuel Antonio.Vigo. In 2009, they earned a Master's Degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Universitat de Barcelona. Lastly, in 2010, they completed a Course of research staff user of experimental animals from Universitat de Barcelona.
