Frances Tyner currently serves as the Director of Corporate Development at MFS Africa, where employment commenced in April 2021, simultaneously holding positions as an Investment Manager and Corporate Development Associate. Frances co-founded A&A Collective in April 2021 and has been a member of Global Women in VC since March 2020. Prior roles include serving as a Research and Impact Officer at Global Partnerships from July 2019 to April 2021 and various roles at Hall Capital Partners LLC from January 2015 to July 2019, culminating as a Cross Asset Research Strategy Associate. Earlier experience includes being an Executive Team Lead at Target and roles at the University of California, Berkeley as an Athletic Tutor and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Frances earned an Executive Education degree in Impact Investing in Africa from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town in 2020, and a degree in Political Economy of Industrialized Societies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014.
