Tyler Winn

Tyler Winn has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Tyler started in 2014 as a Tech Paraprofessional at Bristow Public Schools, where they deployed and maintained laptops for a 1 to 1 program. Tyler also served as a Business Management Information Technology Education Teacher, teaching multimedia and web design.

In 2016, Tyler moved to BTC Broadband, where they worked as a System Administrator, maintaining infrastructure and installing and maintaining various systems. Tyler was promoted to Lead Systems Administrator in 2018, taking on additional responsibilities such as maintaining customer applications.

In 2019, Tyler joined Global Technology Partners (GTP) as a Network/System Administrator. Here, they successfully migrated the company to Active Directory and implemented security standards. Tyler also automated patching using Ansible and deployed Firepower Management Center for IPS/IDS.

Currently, Tyler is working at Onafriq as a Lead System Engineer. Their responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, provisioning and monitoring site-to-site VPN connections, and performing remediation activities for vulnerabilities.

Throughout their career, Tyler has gained expertise in infrastructure maintenance, system administration, network administration, and security standards implementation.

Tyler Winn has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology from the same university in 2012. Tyler also received a High School Diploma from Bristow High School in 2011. Additionally, they have a certification in VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations from VMware, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
