F. Xavi Muñoz-Pascual

F. Xavi Muñoz-Pascual has been involved in a variety of roles in the science and technology industry since 1995. In 1995, they began as a Research Professor BioMEMs-CNM at CSIC, where they worked on more than 40 industrial projects providing sensing solutions to SMEs in environmental health, food safety and Point-of care commercial products. In 2006, they became a Scientific Advisor for INBEA S.L. and BIOLAN MICROBIOSENSORES S.L. In 2012, they were Deputy Manager at MATGAS AIE and Chief Scientific Officer - CSO at MICRO4ENER SL, providing solutions for online control of water quality. In 2016, they were Co-Founder of FUTURSISENS SL and Business Developer Manager at Onalabs Inno-Hub SL. In 2022, they became Director Científico at Onalabs Inno-Hub SL, where they are dedicated to the new development of wearable devices for non-invasive, continuous and remote monitoring of chronic patients.

F. Xavi Muñoz-Pascual began their educational career in 1976, completing their BUP & COU at ESCOLA TECNICA PROFESSIONAL DEL CLOT in 1981. F. Xavi then went on to earn a Bsc Chemistry degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1986. Following this, they earned a Ph D Chemistry degree in Physical-Chemistry from the same university in 1990. F. Xavi then pursued two postdoctoral studies, first at University of Twente in Silicon technology-Clean Room from 1990 to 1992, and then at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Microsystems from 1992 to 1995. Their last postdoctoral study was at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Microelectrònica from 1995 to 1998.
