Jaime Punter-Villagrasa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and engineering field. Jaime started their career as an intern at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, where they conducted analyses on large format printers and optimized their performance.

Later, Punter-Villagrasa worked as an engineer at Fundació Bosch i Gimpera, designing mixed signal instrumentation electronics for biomedical applications. Jaime also developed electronic tools for integration on Application Specific Integrated Circuits.

After that, they joined the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) as an engineer, where they designed instrumentation electronics for biomedical applications and developed an autonomous monitoring device for DNA amplification.

Punter-Villagrasa then worked as the Head of Science at Infantium S.L., leading the R&D department and overseeing the project Infantium 2.0 funded by the Horizon 2020 European Union program.

Jaime later joined the Universitat de Barcelona, initially as a Doctoral Researcher, where they conducted research on Point-of-Care biomedical devices and developed low-cost electronic solutions for electrochemical analysis. Jaime then became a Senior Researcher and the Head of the electronic engineering development team for Project DADDi2 funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy.

In 2018, Punter-Villagrasa became a Post-Doctoral Researcher and Technical Leader at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where they served as the Technical Lead for start-up ventures Feeltect and TightAlright.

Jaime'smost recent position is as the Chief Technology Officer at Onalabs Inno-Hub, where they manage and develops the company's technological plans, integrates technology within existing products, and researches ways to improve the company's technological assets.

Jaime Punter-Villagrasa attended the Universitat de Barcelona from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Physics. Jaime then continued their education at the same university from 2005 to 2008, completing an Engineer's degree in Electronic Engineering. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic Engineering at the Universitat de Barcelona. Finally, from 2011 to 2015, Jaime achieved a PhD in Engineering and Advanced Technologies, also at the Universitat de Barcelona.
