Alex Horan

Alex Horan has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Alex started their career as an IT Analyst at King Sturge & Co in 1999. Alex then joined Aspelle Ltd as a Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for technical sales and establishing a sales and SE team for a new geographical region. In 2003, Alex joined Core Security Technologies, initially as a Director of Systems Engineering and later as a Product Manager. During their time at Core Security Technologies, they worked closely with various teams to ensure products met market needs and made efficient use of engineering resources.

Since 2013, Alex has been working at Onapsis Inc., where their roles have evolved over time. Alex started as a Product Manager, closely collaborating with multiple teams to determine product direction. Later, they became the Director of Product Management, responsible for developing a roadmap for providing enterprise customers with a SAP cyber-security platform. Currently, Alex is the Vice President of Products at Onapsis Inc., where they guide the development of product roadmaps, ensuring the company maintains its market-leading position.

Alex Horan attended St. Patrick's College Drumcondra from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a UE degree in General. From 1994 to 1997, they pursued studies in Computer Science and Business Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including a Product Executive Certificate and Product Management Leadership from Product School in April 2021, and Decision by Design from FS Courses in January 2021. They also earned a certification in How to be a Phenomenal Product Manager from 280 Group in November 2014.
