Akmyrat Tuyliyev

Akmyrat Tuyliyev is an accomplished professional in the fields of interactive media and immersive storytelling, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where courses focus on digital storytelling and immersive experiences. As a Producer at MIT Open Documentary Lab and a member of ONX Studio, Akmyrat engages in transformative projects within the XR space. With extensive experience as a Judge for the News and Documentary Emmy® Awards, as well as previous roles in AR and VR production at companies such as QReal and A+E Networks, Akmyrat has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing innovative storytelling techniques. Akmyrat holds a Master of Professional Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design, complemented by early artistic training at Bashim Nurali Art School.
