Cassie McAdams

Cassie McAdams has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Cassie began their career at PwC in 2009 as a Senior Associate and later transitioned into a Manager role from 2012 to 2015. Cassie then worked at Deutsche Bank as a Manager in Finance Advisory from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, Cassie became a Deal Associate at Fundie Ventures before pursuing an MBA at IE Business School from 2017 to 2018. Cassie then joined Movac as an Investment - Secondment from April to June 2020. Cassie's investment experience continued at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, where they served as an Investment Manager from October 2018 to July 2020, and as an Investment Director in August 2020. Cassie also contributed as a Board Member for Environmental Choice New Zealand from May 2020 to March 2022. In 2019, Cassie co-founded OnBoard NZ and served as the Founder and Programme Director. Currently, Cassie holds the position of Investment & Community Manager at Movac since September 2020.

Cassie McAdams has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IE Business School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Cassie also has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Otago, completed from 2003 to 2008. In addition, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Amsterdam, where they focused on law in 2008. Cassie McAdams has obtained certifications in Ignite Leadership Coaching from the International Coach Federation in 2019 and in Venture Deals from the Kauffman Fellows Academy in 2017.
