Cédric Balsat

Cédric Balsat began their career in 2008 as a QC Analyst at Labo Life Belgium. In 2009, they became a PhD Student at the Université de Liège (ULg), where their project focused on computer assisted characterization of the lymphatic vascular network through cancer progression. In 2014, they took on the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at the CHU of Liège, where their project focused on immunohistochemical study of tumor cell chemotaxis and anti-tumor immune response. In 2016, they became Lab Manager at DIAPath - CMMI - ULB, a multidisciplinary and inter-faculty unit included in the Center for Microscopy and Molecular Imaging. Finally, in 2020, they joined OncoDNA as a Production Manager and Senior Scientist.

Cédric Balsat obtained their PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Liège in 2014, with a focus on Oncology and Cancer Biology. Cédric also earned a Maetre d'expérience FELASA - Catégorie C from the University of Liège in 2014, with a focus on Biomedical Sciences, General. Prior to this, they obtained their Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2007, with a focus on Biomedical Sciences, General.
