Marco Muñoz is a Senior Director Strategic Initiatives Office of the Chairman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Corporation. He builds support and connections that help promote the Institute's global interests, working with strategic partners who share MIT's goal of solving some of the world's greatest challenges.
Previously, Marco worked at the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas at Austin where he developed economic and technological initiatives around the world. Muñoz was President of the Executive Committee of the Gulf of Mexico States Accord.
He has served as an advisor to the Mexican delegation at the International Coffee Organization in London. Muñoz was Special Counsel to the President of the Universidad Veracruzana in Xalapa, Mexico.
