Laura Guerra

Laura Guerra is a seasoned professional in the field of oncology research and nursing, currently serving as the Research Department Manager at Oncology Consultants since August 2014. In this role, Laura oversees daily activities in the research department and plays a key role in managing investigational projects aimed at providing advanced cancer treatment. Previously, Laura held the position of Chief Clinical Officer at Clinical Oncology Research Excellence, LLC, where responsibilities included oversight of clinical and operational initiatives. Prior to that, Laura managed research clinical operations at The US Oncology Network, facilitating significant patient enrollment in drug discovery programs. Laura's extensive experience also includes various nursing roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center and UTMB, with a background in breast oncology and chemotherapy care. Laura holds an Associate of Science degree in nursing from Galveston College and completed further education at Texas Women's University.
