Katie Smith

Katie Smith has extensive experience in safety and operations, currently serving as the Safety Manager for Operations Training & Governance at Oncor Electric Delivery, a role held since April 2014. Previous positions at Oncor include Senior Manager of Wildfire Mitigation & Resiliency Programs and Safety Manager for Human Performance & OSHA Compliance, with a focus on safety, human performance, and industrial hygiene. Earlier in her career, Katie held roles as a Technical Specialist in Human & Organizational Performance and an Administrative Assistant. Prior to her tenure at Oncor, Katie worked as an Assistant Manager at Delaware North and as a Supervisor in Security, Parking, and Customer Service for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Tarrant County College.
