Nader Shaar has extensive work experience in various software engineering roles, with a focus on software development and quality assurance. Nader began their career at Nesma & Partners as an Intern Mechanical Engineer, where they oversaw pipe assembly and developed a database system for communication and inventory management. Nader then joined MIT as a Research Assistant, working on both their Master's and PhD degrees. At MathWorks, Nader held positions as a Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, and eventually a Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at OnCorps as the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, after previously holding the role of Vice President of Software Development.
Nader Shaar has a strong educational background in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Nader pursued their Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they went on to enroll in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Micro/Nano Tech. Nader Shaar completed their doctoral studies at MIT from 2004 to 2009.
