Barkan Saeed

Barkan Saeed has a wealth of work experience. Barkan began their career as a Software Engineer at Prosol Technologies in 2005. In 2016, they became the CTO of Truelinked - Empowering the casting revolution. Barkan then became the Chief Executive Officer of OnDemandStartup, where they worked to help entrepreneurs start on-demand businesses. In 2017, they became the Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA). In 2020, they joined the Government of Pakistan as a Member of Prime Ministers Task Force On IT & Telecom, and also became a Board Member of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA). Finally, in 2021, they became the Founder of WorkerX.

Barkan Saeed has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, which they obtained in 2005. Barkan is currently studying Product Management at the University of Alberta. In addition, they have obtained five Coursera Course Certificates, including The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (2016), Software Processes and Agile Practices (2015), Introduction to Software Product Management (2015), The Importance of Listening - Social Media Specialization (2015), and Human-Centered Design: an Introduction (2015).
