Suguru Nishioka

Suguru Nishioka has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and design industry. Suguru is the CTO and Co-Founder of ONDO Systems, Inc. since June 2020, where they are responsible for leading the technical development of the company. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Product Officer at Near Inc from June 2017 to May 2020, overseeing product development and strategy. Suguru also served as the Director of User Experience at Alarm.com in March 2017 and was responsible for enhancing the user experience of their products. Suguru gained significant experience as the Director of User Experience at Icontrol Networks from November 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they led front-end architecture overhaul, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and directed the industrial design direction for future products. Before this, they held the position of Lead Visual Designer at Icontrol Networks, where they contributed to the UX and visual design of home security and smart-home products.
