Ernest Ngabonzima

Ernest Ngabonzima is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community development and research. Currently serving as the Field Performance Analysis Team Lead at One Acre Fund since June 2022, Ernest previously held the position of Rwanda Qualitative Lead for Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE) with FATE Consulting Ltd from September 2018 to June 2022, leading qualitative research across multiple countries. Ernest's experience includes roles such as Senior Research Specialist and Executive Manager at One Acre Fund, and Marketing and Enrollment Project Specialist at ACTogether Uganda, where training and capacity building in business planning and project design were key responsibilities. As the Country Director for Spark MicroGrants from December 2010 to October 2014, Ernest managed programs, facilitated community empowerment, and strengthened government relationships. Ernest holds a Master’s Degree in Community Development Studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completed in 2016.
