Anna Hetherington is an accomplished educator and professional speaker with extensive experience in the fields of visual arts and art history. Currently serving as the Visual Arts Department Chair and Art History Instructor at Horace Mann School since September 2013, Anna also teaches Art Humanities at Columbia University in the City of New York since September 2008. As a professional speaker for One Day University since October 2017, Anna shares expertise on art topics. Additionally, Anna co-founded and served as the Executive Director of Praxis Youth Leadership Orchestra, Inc. from June 2010 to December 2015, where a focus on mentorship transformed young musicians into effective leaders. Anna holds a PhD in History of Art from Columbia University and a BA in Art History and Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
