Robert Greenberg

Professor at One Day University

Robert Greenberg is a distinguished music professional with extensive experience in academia and performance. Currently a Professor at One Day University since 2016 and a Steinway Artist with Steinway & Sons since 2013, Greenberg also serves as Music Historian-in-Residence at San Francisco Performances and has been a Professor with The Great Courses since 1992. As Co-Artistic Director of Composers, Inc. since 1985 and having worked as a self-employed composer, pianist, and speaker since 1978, Greenberg has significantly contributed to music education and performance. Previously, Greenberg held leadership roles at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and taught as a Visiting Professor at California State University-East Bay. Educationally, Greenberg earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Music Composition from the University of California, Berkeley, following an AB in Music from Princeton University.
